Meet Marley
Pronouns: She/They
My work as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist is grounded in the belief that we are capable and deserving of the fulfilling lives we dream up for ourselves. I support individuals, couples, 2+ relationships, and families in their goals to create lasting change towards wellness and togetherness. Treatment plans are tailored to your unique needs and wants from the therapeutic process. You are the expert of your own life and I am merely here to support you.
My approach is open-minded, direct, benevolent, collaborative, and client-centered with specific attention paid to the various factors (i.e., biological, cultural, social, occupational, psychological, sexual, and spiritual) that make up our identities, influence our understanding of ourselves, and help us to create meaning in our lives. I strive to create a safe space where a full range of emotions is welcome as we marvel at the absurdity that is the human experience. With that, I believe that laughter and playfulness, where appropriate, are vital to healing.
I aim to provide inclusive support for all of my clients as I firmly believe that access to joy, pleasure, and community is not only a human right, but an act of resistance. I feel passionately that reducing shame, building connection, and cultivating a pleasure-centered, embodied life are essential to liberation.
Humans are innately compassionate, prosocial, and resilient—sometimes we simply need support. I would be honored to be in your corner.
In my spare time, you will find me basking in sunshine, adventuring with loved ones, or cozying up with my cat and a book.
Finding the right therapist can be an arduous mission. I invite you to schedule a free 20-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit. If it’s not meant to be, I want to support you on your quest to find a therapist and will gladly provide external referrals.
